This feels like it correlates to the aspect of toxic masculinity that defines a man’s personhood BY his penis, so that he can only be the person he is by being recognized for the penis he’s attached to. By this [twisted] logic, an additional penis in the relationship would be not only competition, but reduction. It’s so sad that it’s so difficult to feel confident about our personhood when our “manhood” literally gets in the way.
